It's Not Her Fault...

Molly went to the vet yesterday and he said she needs to lose a few pounds. I think she looks beautiful, but apparently her life changes this year have caused her to get fat (she lost her friend to play with, she doesn't always get her walks because sometimes we are too busy with Aidan and we have also been giving her extra treats to make up for her lost attention...). It probably also doesn't help that she sleeps most of the day and when she is not sleeping she is eating or finding a new place to sleep (although she has not yet reached Maggie-proportions with her laziness!)
So, here's to Molly's new diet of only dog food and healthy dog treats and we will do our best to give her a walk every day!

I am adorably precious. So why does no one comment on my fantastic blog? I just don't understand the anarchy!

I love socks!!! (In a cool, manly way, of course...)

Grandma sent me some presents this week and I have been enjoying them. These are new socks that happen to match my outfit perfectly! Thanks, Grandma!

Fire Engine Maniac

I know that it has been awhile since we have posted anything. The other day we got out Aidan's fire engine (thanks Lee, Hillary and Olyvia), and he loves it even though he can't touch the ground yet. That means McCall and I get to push him around chasing Molly. Aidan loves to push the buttons and rock back and forth while the music plays.

We took Aidan to his 9 month check-up today even though it is a little early. He weighs exactly 14 pounds and he is 25 1/2 inches long. So he is still in the 5th percentile :) He is growing steadily though and healthy, so all is good.

In other news, McCall will be starting a new job in a couple of weeks. She gave her notice at work today and was promptly escorted out of the building since she is going to work for a competitor. The new job should be a great opportunity, though and she will be able to work from home, which will give her more flexibility and more time with Aidan. Plus, now she has a couple of weeks off until her new job starts!

Good Times...

Aidan got a new high chair. So far he has loved eating everything except green beans and peas. I don't blame him on the peas, they smell gross.

We went to Jack's baby blessing and Aidan relaxed on Ashley and Josh's hammock for a few minutes afterward

Apparently the bathroom sink is a fascinating adventure.

We went up to Logan to visit and stopped by campus while we were there. Sadly there were no hot girls around so Aidan is not yet a true Aggie.

We found this awesome sweatsuit for Aidan so he can support the Aggies.

Baseball Mania

Yesterday we got free tickets to a Bees baseball game from my work. McCall and I have not been to a Bees game before and it was Aidan's first sporting event. It was a lot of fun, Grandpa Hollingsworth came with us. We got free hamburgers, cookies and drinks (courtesy of Larry H. Miller group of companies). We also got free Cracker Jacks and peanuts at the gate. Aidan enjoyed looking at everything and everyone. He did get scared when free shirts were being thrown into the crowd and everyone was standing up yelling and screaming to get a cheap free shirt, that you know you will never wear. Aidan and I took a walk around the souvenir shop and he talked me into a miniature baseball with the Bees logo on it. All in all it was a fun night. PS we won 10 to 5.

We're #1 (...plus 13)

Farmington was rated the 14th best small town to live in by CNN. Aren't we special?
