5 days after Aidan was born, Baxter jumped into his crib. Lynette (Grandma Campbell) grabbed Aidan and McCall grabbed Baxter. While being pulled away Baxter bit Aidan's tiny little face. We rushed him to the hospital where he got 3 stitches. We were told by the doctor not to cover the wound, but to clean it with a mixture of Hydrogen Peroxide and water then put Neosporin on it multiple times a day (we cleaned it every time he ate). It was so sad to have this happen to him, but we knew it would heal and he would be fine.
While at the hospital Animal Control came and filled out a report because of the dog bite. When we left the hospital the Animal Control Officer followed us home to take Baxter and have him quarantined for 10 days after which he would be put down. We loved Baxter but we love Aidan more.

It has been three weeks since Aidan was bit and as you can see his little face is healing nicely. There is still one spot that is swollen, McCall called the doctor and he told us about an amazing product to use to help reduce the swelling: Preparation H.
